Absolutely phenomenal – the perfect place to celebrate one of life’s biggest moments!
We had our wedding at Cortijo La Presa in June 2025, and I am beyond happy that we chose to celebrate such a special occasion here with Cathryn and Jamie. I don’t have a single negative thing to say. From start to finish, they were incredibly professional throughout the entire planning process – always available, always willing to help, and offering invaluable input that made our wedding even better than we could have imagined.
We hosted a three-day wedding with guests staying both at Cortijo La Presa and in nearby villas. All weekend long, Cathryn and Jamie handled everything seamlessly – from arranging guest transport to and from the extra houses, to serving food and drinks. They have an incredibly professional team around them, and the entire experience felt perfectly staffed, ensuring everything ran smoothly without a single hitch. The entire experience felt generous, both in terms of the catering and in how much of themselves they gave to us and our guests. The hosts and their team constantly went above and beyond anything we could have expected. They were always there to support us in ways we hadn’t even thought of, making every single moment magical. Thoughtful touches, like saving some of our wedding day decorations like menus, place cards etc. for us (something we hadn’t even considered at the time), mean the world to us now.
We also hired Cathryn as our wedding planner – and she absolutely delivered! She coordinated with suppliers, florists, and other vendors with total professionalism, and everything turned out better than we could have wished for. As the bride, the greatest gift was the peace of mind Cathryn gave me throughout the day. She kept me updated on how everything was going, making sure I knew the status of each part of the event so I could fully relax and enjoy the moment. She made sure I had a mimosa in the morning, brought lunch up to my room, calmed my nerves before the ceremony, and guided both me and my father right up until we walked down the aisle. I can’t put into words how much that meant to me.
All in all, I cannot recommend Cortijo La Presa highly enough to any future couples. Our wedding weekend was unforgettable, and we will cherish the memories forever.

We were here to attend a wedding. From the moment we arrived to when we left, the service we received from Jamie, Cathryn and the rest of the staff was absolutely second to none. They were the perfect hosts and nothing was too much trouble for them. Everyone attending the wedding fully agreed and they made us feel like part of their family. The natural beauty of the area and the breath-taking views have to be seen to be fully appreciated. Even the locals turned out for the wedding at the local church. Thank you for a lovely experience.

I had the absolute joy of being the toastmadame for a three-day wedding at Cortijo La Presa, and I just have to sing the praises of their incredible team!
Jamie and Cathryn were simply outstanding – so dedicated, service-minded, and an absolute dream to work with. They were always one step ahead, thinking through every detail in the planning process and going above and beyond from start to finish. Their effort, warmth, and attention to detail truly made the entire weekend unforgettable. We had our wedding ceremony at Cortijo at the end of May and cannot give anything but praise to Jamie, Cathryn and all the staff for their hard work and their role in making the weekend a complete success.
The venue itself is a hidden gem in the Andalusian countryside and the renovations they have made over the winter time have only elevated what was an already amazing place.
The attention to detail that was provided - Cathryn with her assistance in helping to coordinate the wedding before and during, making sure everything ran smoothly, and Jamie helping to organise all the food and drinks for each of the 3 days we were there - ensured that we had a perfect weekend.
Wish we could do it all again! The accommodation is perfect as well and was ideal to have 30 of our guests in close proximity. Great food, great pool area, great value for money. Totally recommend. Cannot wait to come back again hopefully in the not too distant future!!
